Natural light helps avoid undesirable hues that often appear in artificial lighting. Having said that, make sure the window is out of focus, either to the right or right side of the subject. Plus, no matter what you are doing in the video, make sure not to be present just in front of the window, as this will cause you to appear silhouetted. 

 

  1. Framing Is Crucial: The back camera of a mobile device is almost always better than the front one. This means, while recording, you will likely be unable to see yourself. To overcome this issue, set your camera and click a few pics with the timer mode as this will help you choose the best position. Ideally, the person in focus should be at the center of the frame.
